You can open a MoMo PSB account by downloading the MoMo PSB App on Play store or Apple Store and signing-in by creating a 4-digit unique pin. Alternatively, you can dial *671# on your MTN line to open an account.

You can fund your MoMo PSB account through the below channels:

• Transfer funds from your other bank app into your MoMo account. Your MTN Phone number without the first zero is your MoMo account number. Under list of banks, select “MoMo PSB”.
• Have your friend send money from his/her MoMo account into your MoMo account using your MTN phone number. Your friend is to visit the MoMo App and click on “Transfer to Wallet”, or dial *671*1*1*1* your MTN phone number# to fund your MoMo account.
• Locate a MoMo Agent to fund your account by calling our toll-free number 671.
• Walk into any MTN Touch point to have your account funded with your desired amount.

You can transfer money out of your MoMo account via any of the two means:

1. Log into your MoMo app and tap on “Transfer to bank”, enter the recipient’s account number and follow the prompts, then enter your 4-digit PIN to validate the transaction.
2. Dial *671#, select option 1 (transfer) and follow the prompts.

• Send and Receive money from any phone number.
• Transfers to other banks at a flat fee of N10 regardless of the transaction value.
• Purchase of Airtime and Data for all networks for self or for others. You get a 50% airtime bonus and a 2% airtime cashback when you buy MTN airtime, and a 2% data cashback when you buy MTN data for yourself.
• Bill Payment (DSTV, GOTV, Star-times) and Electricity Token Purchase
• Mini Apps – Food Ordering, Save n Invest, Gift Cards for international payments, Shop with AliExpress, Roundy Games, Travelwings for flight bookings, betting and lottery services etc.
• Tax Payments for Ekiti, Rivers and Nasarawa.
• Sports Betting Wallet Top-up Transactions – Betway, 1XBet, Betmotto, Bet9ja, Betmojo, Betking etc.
• Refer a Friend Service.
• Send and Receive money Globally:
  • Receive money from USA, UK, Canada and Europe.
  • Send money to Africa countries such as: Ghana, Uganda, Rwanda, Zambia, Cameroon, Liberia, Togo, Cote D’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Congo Brazzaville, Benin, Gambia, Malawi and Sierra Leone.

You can withdraw cash from your MoMo PSB account by visiting a MoMo Agent or walking into any MTN Touch point nationwide.

There are 3 tiers of transaction limits:

• Tier 1 – Maximum single deposit of N50,000 and maximum cumulative balance of N300,000.
• Tier 2 – Maximum single deposit of N200,000 and maximum cumulative balance of N500,000.
• Tier 3 – Maximum single deposit of N5,000,000 and no limit on cumulative balance.

Yes, you can. Once you open your MoMo account, it will be on a tier 1 level which allows you to only transact with a maximum of N50,000. To perform transactions above N50,000, you will need to upgrade your MoMo account to Tier 2 and Tier 3 by doing the below:

• Dial *671*8*2# to link your BVN to your MoMo account for a Tier 2 upgrade.
• After linking your BVN to your MoMo account, then call our Helpdesk toll-free number on 671 for support for a Tier 3 upgrade.

Yes. You can send money to family and friends who do not have a MoMo account. He/she would need to open a MoMo account to access the money.
