MoMo Payment Service Bank Limited (“MoMo PSB”) is running an initiative for its merchants and agents titled MoMo Champions League. The challenge seeks to present a weekly reward to the 15 top performing merchants and 15 top performing per region agents who perform a minimum of 10 qualifying transactions from their accounts, and a grand reward to the top 3 performing merchants and top 3 performing agents. The challenge is valid from now till 30th September 2025.

Terms And Conditions

EligibilityEligibility
  • Open to all registered and active MoMo Agents and Merchants operating within Nigeria.
  • Participants must have active MoMo accounts upgraded to Tier 3.
  • Permanent and contract staff of MoMo PSB and MTN Nigeria, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible.
ParticipationParticipation
  • To qualify, participants must perform a minimum of 10 qualifying transactions weekly.
  • The minimum threshold value required for any of the qualifying transactions is N500.
  • The qualifying transactions are Airtime, Data, Bill payments, Bank Transfer, Cash in-Cash out, Payment collections using merchant ID.
  • By entering, participants agree to be bound by all rules, decisions, and instructions from MoMo PSB.
Competition FormatCompetition Format
  • The challenge will run from 10th September 2025 till 30th September 2025. Activities performed outside the challenge period will not count.
  • There will be weekly and grand categories for agent and merchant participation. For the weekly category, agents and merchants are to perform a minimum of 10 qualifying transactions with at least N500. The 15 top performing agents per region and 15 top performing merchants per region will receive a weekly reward of a MoMo branded parasol each. At the end of the challenge duration, 3 top performing agents per region and 3 top performing merchants per region will receive a grand prize of a 2.5KV generator each.
  • Points will be awarded based on volume of transactions and revenue generated from those transactions. If there is a tie in the number of transactions, the revenue generated will be considered.
  • MoMo PSB reserves the right to define and adjust scoring mechanisms to ensure fairness.
Rewards & RecognitionRewards & Recognition
  • Every week, 15 top performing merchants per MoMo region and 15 top performing agents per MoMo region will receive one unit of MoMo branded parasol each.
  • At the end of the challenge duration, the top 3 performing agents per region and the top 3 performing merchants per region will be rewarded with one unit of 2.5KVA generator each, the brand and value to be solely decided by MoMo PSB.
  • The overall champions will be celebrated at the grand finale event and featured on MoMo PSB communication platforms.
  • Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise specified.
  • The prizes and prize categories may be changed at MoMo PSB’s discretion.
  • Winnings at the weekly category and the grand category are one-off. A participant can only win once throughout the lifecycle of the challenge.
ConductConduct
  • Any fraudulent activity (misuse of MoMo services, manipulation of transactions etc.) will result in immediate disqualification.
  • MoMo PSB reserves the right to investigate and withhold prizes where irregularities are detected.
Data & PublicityData & Publicity
  • By participating, agents and merchants agree to the use of their names, images, and performance highlights for publicity purposes without further compensation.
  • MoMo PSB will handle all personal data in line with its Data Protection & Privacy Policy.
Dispute ResolutionDispute Resolution
  • These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
  • MoMo PSB’s decision on all matters relating to the challenge shall be final and binding.
GeneralGeneral
  • MoMo PSB reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the challenge at any time without prior notice.
  • Participation in the challenge implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
